Add Your Car
Link your manufacturer's connected-car account to BetterKey and confirm your car appears in the app.
Before you connect, your car must:
- Support remote features such as lock and unlock
- Be set up in your manufacturer’s app
- Have an active remote service subscription, if your manufacturer requires one
Open BetterKey

Continue past the plan screen
If BetterKey shows a subscription or trial screen before setup, continue from there.
This screen may vary depending on whether you already have an active plan or free trial.

Confirm your trial or purchase if prompted
If iOS asks you to confirm a trial or subscription, complete that step first.
Once the purchase sheet is done, BetterKey will return you to the add-car flow.

Tap Add Car
Start the car setup by tapping Add Car.
If you already have a car connected in the future, this same flow starts from the + button.

Choose your car make
Select your car’s make from the list.
This should match the brand used in your manufacturer’s official app.

Choose your model
Choose the correct model for your car.
If you have multiple similar cars, double-check this selection before moving on.

Sign in using the same credentials you use in your manufacturer’s app.
If you don’t have an account yet, or your car is not set up there, you’ll need to complete that first before continuing.

Allow car access

Confirm the car was added
Once setup is complete, your car will appear in BetterKey.
You’re ready to use supported features like lock and unlock.
